Branding for companies that have outgrown their brand

Brands rarely fail for lack of a logo. They fail because the company got better and the brand didn't, so buyers still see the version from a few years ago.

What a brand has to do

Your company got better and the brand didn't. We build the positioning, the identity, and the system that carries both across the website, the sales deck, and the product.

Someone has to explain the choice.

Every purchase has a person who'll be asked why they chose you. We build brands that are understood quickly first and distinctive second, and we don't confuse the order.

A brand is a system, not a PDF.

Every identity ships as a system that works in Figma, Webflow, and Google Slides. The logo on the homepage matches the one in the sales deck and the one in the product, without a designer in the room.

Refresh or rebrand is a decision.

Many companies need a refresh: keep the equity, fix the expression. Some need the whole thing. We'll tell you which, and we scope the smaller one when it's right.

Strategy

Brand strategy your team can repeat.

We start with what's true. We interview your customers, your salespeople, and the people who picked a competitor. From that comes positioning that fits in one breath, a messaging architecture the site can be built on, and a brand voice your team can actually write in.

What's included
  • Customer, sales, and lost-deal interviews
  • Competitive and category audit
  • Positioning and messaging architecture
  • Brand voice and writing guidelines
Who it's for

Companies whose story outgrew the founding pitch, and teams that can't explain what they do in one breath.

Identity

An identity built as a system.

Wordmark and logo, color and typography, illustration and photography direction, motion principles. All of it is delivered as a brand book and a Figma library with tokens, so the identity is usable the day it's approved rather than after another vendor translates it.

What's included
  • Logo and wordmark
  • Color, typography, and spacing system
  • Illustration, iconography, and imagery direction
  • Motion principles
  • Brand book and Figma library with tokens
Who it's for

Brands that look like their competitors, and brands the company has outgrown.

System and rollout

A brand your whole team can use.

The reveal isn't the finish line. We consolidate existing brand standards into a single source of truth, then roll the identity into a Webflow site built on the same system, a sales deck and template suite, social and email kits, and product UI guidelines developed with your engineering team. Then we train your team to extend it, so the foundation holds up as the team grows and design needs multiply.

What's included
  • Audit and consolidation of existing brand standards
  • Figma library structured for developer handoff
  • Webflow website built on the brand system
  • Sales deck and document template suite
  • Social, email, and campaign kits
  • Product UI guidelines with your product team
  • Team training and rollout support
Who it's for

Companies that have watched a brand look great in the reveal and never make it to the website.

What to expect

Every engagement is built around one outcome.

Every engagement is scoped to a single, defined outcome. You'll know what we're solving, what success looks like, and when we're done. No expanding statements of work, no surprise phases.

Some projects start with a short planning sprint, when the right answer isn't clear yet. Most move straight into strategy, design, and build. Either way, the people you meet in the first conversation are the ones who carry it to launch.

01. Diagnose
We start with a working session, a review of what you have, and a clear write-up of what's actually getting in the way.
02. Plan
You get a roadmap with priorities, sequencing, and the specific places where experience will save time, money, or rework.
03. Build
We design and build alongside your team, train as we go, and document everything so the knowledge stays after launch.

About our agency
FAQ

What does a branding agency actually do?

Positioning, identity, and the system to use both. We figure out what your company should say and how it should look, then deliver it in a form your marketing, sales, and product teams can use without calling us.

Do we need a rebrand or a brand refresh?

Usually a refresh. If the name and the core idea still work, you keep the equity and fix the expression. A rebrand is for when the name, the market, or the company changed. We'll tell you which after the first conversation.

How long does a branding project take?

Strategy and identity together usually land inside our standard 12 to 20 week project window, and a refresh is shorter. Rolling the brand out to a new website adds the web timeline. We work in fixed phases, so the schedule is set before kickoff.

Do you specialize in an industry?

No. Clients include Betterment, Quicken, M13, SOCi, and Egglife, across fintech, SaaS, venture, and consumer brands. What they share is a brand that needed to catch up to the company.

Can you build the website with the new brand?

Yes, and it's why clients hire us for both. The identity is built as a system and the Webflow site is built on that system. Nothing gets lost between a rebranding agency and a web agency, because there's no handoff.

How do you measure whether a brand is working?

We watch the leading indicators: whether sales calls sound like the site, conversion on key pages, win rate in competitive deals, and how often the team goes off-script. We set the baseline before the work starts.
