Being the most prominent, non-commercial, free-to-air television network in the world comes with a certain set of standards, and the rockstar team at PBS knows it. As one of the largest publicly funded, nonprofit organizations in existence, PBS is the largest provider of educational programmer to public television stations in the United States, famous for distributing shows like Frontline, Nova, NewsHour and Sesame Street (yes, THE Sesame Street.)
Legacy brands tend to have legacy problems, like having loads of web properties built at completely different times with completely different programs. At some point, constructing a single source of truth is the only way to keep moving forward. We specialize in single sources of truth. So with the enthusiasm of PBS’ internal dev team fueling our fire, Team Paper Tiger wireframed and coded a full-stack frontend that brought together over 30 websites in one beautifully branded, damn near existential experience (not-so-humble brag.)
